Terms of service

The service

Clipsource AB provides, through the web services Clipsource ("Service"), a platform that enables companies, organizations and other customers ("Customers") to publish, manage, present and distribute videos, images, texts, metadata and other digital content or information ("Materials") to visitors and registered users ("Users").

The Service may include both account-based areas and publicly available areas accessible without registration. Certain functionality, including notifications, press release distribution and corporate news distribution, may be available to recipients without requiring a user account. Publicly available Materials may be indexed, cached or referenced by third-party services, including search engines and AI-based services, beyond the control of Clipsource AB.

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Service and the Materials made available through the Service, including through clipsource.com and related services operated by Clipsource AB.

User obligations

Users undertake to use the Service and Materials in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and any restrictions or usage terms communicated by the relevant Customer.
Unless otherwise stated by the relevant Customer, Materials made available through the Service may only be used for editorial, informational or other Customer-authorized purposes.

Certain Materials may be subject to additional access restrictions, viewing limitations or confidentiality requirements defined by the relevant Customer.

Registered Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and must not share account access with third parties.

Users may not use the Service in any manner that may damage, disrupt or impair the functionality or security of the Service.

Recipients of notifications or communications distributed through the Service may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe functionality included in such communications.

Customer responsibility for content

Each Customer is solely responsible for the Materials it publishes, distributes or otherwise makes available through the Service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they hold all necessary rights, permissions and consents required for the publication and distribution of such Materials and that the Materials do not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

Right to limitation or termination of use

Clipsource AB reserves the right, at any time and where reasonably necessary without prior notice, to suspend or terminate access to the Service or parts thereof, including registered user accounts, in the event of misuse, violation of these Terms and Conditions, security concerns or technical necessity.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clipsource AB shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses or other consequences arising from the use of the Service or Materials, including but not limited to errors in Materials, non-delivery, delayed delivery, interruptions or technical disturbances in the Service.

Clipsource AB does not assume responsibility for Materials published or distributed by Customers. Each Customer is solely responsible for the content it makes available through the Service.

While the Service is generally available 24 hours per day, Clipsource AB does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation of the Service.

Privacy and communications

Clipsource AB processes personal data in connection with the operation of the Service in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, Clipsource AB’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, its Cookie Policy.

Recipients of notifications and communications distributed through the Service may unsubscribe from such communications at any time.
