Who we are
Clipsource was founded in 2010 to help media companies share videos and screeners more efficiently. Our platform, the Screening Room, was a success, and we expanded our product to solve other issues unique to the media and entertainment industry.

Our Journey
Clipsource founded by Jens Ander, Johan Wiklund and Dan Willstrand. It started as a pure screening platform, allowing broadcasters to show programs to journalists before premiere. The service was so successful that customers soon asked us to develop more services that would help them promote their content.
2010
In 2014 we introduced the video-centric Media Center. In addition to screening, customers could now present all their content without restraints. The first customers were Discovery Networks and SF Studios.
2014
Following an increased need to distribute media assets, Discovery Networks came to us with a request for an internal content hub, making it easier for sales, marketing, programming and communication departments to access media necessary for their tasks. This resulted in the Digital Asset Management service Program Catalog. This is today the heart of Clipsource’s offering, streamlining communication and marketing workflows for companies such as TV4, Viaplay Group and Warner Bros. Discovery.

2018
With all media and metadata organised in the Program Catalog, it was a natural step to automate the distribution of TV schedules. Since the launch of this service, third parties can access rich schedules through API or download, minimizing the risk of obsolete information or human errors.

Introduction of Mediabank - simplifying complex file management by centralising everything in one user-friendly environment where members in your organisation can access, share and distribute images and videos however they need to.
