Product Updates June 2024
We want to highlight some of the new features and workflows that you will face. Most of the changes will only be noticeable for customers who have both the Media Center and Screening Room modules. This is what's new ✨
🎬 General access to the Media Center and Screening Room
All contacts will automatically be given logged-in access to Media Center, regardless of what group/s they are added to. This means that a contact who only exists in a Screening Room group will automatically have logged-in access to the Media Center, and vice versa.
🔓 Screening Room logged-in access level
To streamline access for contacts we have added the same access level for screeners as for press releases, visible in logged-in view. The new access level is now available in the screener workflow under the access tab. Any screener post with a logged-in access setting will be visible to contacts logged in to the Media Center and the Portal. No screener post will be given the new access level unless admins actively set a screener post to be visible to logged-in contacts.
💻 Access applications
All incoming access requests, whether from the Media Center or the Clipsource Portal, are now to be managed in the same view. To the 'Access requests' tab, you can see a badge with the number of pending access requests. Upon managing an access request, all your existing groups will be listed separately, per module.
📤 Email distribution
All your contact groups are now listed in the press release and the screener workflow under separate module sections. This means you can give access and distribute emails to all your groups in both workflows.
