2025 was an intense year for Clipsource, in the best way.
We grew, shipped meaningful improvements, welcomed new customers, and showed up where the industry meets. It wasn’t quiet, but it was purposeful.

This year, with the uncertainty in the industry, we took the time to focus on product development and launched a plethora of new updates, both requested by customers as well as overall platform refreshing and bettering.

In September, we hired Linda Bernström as our new CRO, to head our Sales efforts and deliver an even better experience for new clients as well as take care of existing ones.

A more flexible Media Center
Page Builder launch
A brand-new Page Builder gives you full control over your Media Center homepage. Freely design, rearrange, and expand your layout, while pulling content and media from across the Clipsource platform.A wave of new components
New components like automated lists, book catalogs, live events, link lists, and collection blocks made Media Center pages more dynamic and better suited for storytelling.
Smarter workflows & better quality control
Schedules upgrades
Share direct links to specific channels and dates. Schedules now also highlight soft and hard errors even after publishing, making it easier to catch missing images or content gaps while keeping schedules live.Import from Word
Import .docx files directly into Media Center posts for faster publishing and easier collaboration.Accessibility icon tooltips
WCAG-standardized tooltips were added for key accessibility icons across Schedules, in both Admin and Public views.
Media management, upgraded
Mediabank: Celebrity recognition
Mediabank now identifies recognized faces in images and tags them automatically.Cropper v2
Crop images, choose formats, adjust backgrounds, and re-crop endlessly — all while preserving the original file.Flag AI-generated images
Images created with AI can now be automatically or manually flagged in Program Catalog and Book Catalog.
Distribution & discovery improvements
RSS & Atom feed import
Media Center now supports RSS and Atom feeds. Connected feeds automatically create draft posts, including media.New video player
We built our own video player from scratch for smoother playback and better casting across all Clipsource videos.Tags: a new way to connect content
Tags now unify related content across modules, generating automatic tag pages that bring together posts, screeners, images, and programs in one place.
Platform foundations
Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO became available this year, laying the groundwork for smoother onboarding and simpler authentication workflows. More to come.
Giving Back
In times of global need, we remain committed to making a difference. This year, we’ve chosen to support the campaign to purchase evacuation ambulances named “Oksana II” for the 38th Independent Marine Brigade defending Ukrainian territory. The initiative helps fund lifesaving medical transport on the frontline. This equipment can mean the difference between life and death for wounded defenders and civilians alike.
