Product Updates November 2023

A function for forms on pages
We have introduced a feature that allows the creation of forms to be published on a page. These forms can be created for a variety of purposes and include fields for single and multi-line texts, dates, dropdowns, checkboxes, and more. The forms are dynamically buildable, making it easy to customize aspects like appearance, colors, and functionality.
You can choose the email address to which the form responses will be sent. For instance, if you want the responses to be sent to a partner, that is entirely possible.
This feature has been made available to pages in Media Center:
Notifications to non-registered users
We have added a function in Media Center, which we have received several requests for. The function allows sending a notification to an email address without the recipient needing to be a contact in the system, which can be particularly useful if you wish to inform someone about a news item on a one-off basis, without necessarily wanting to add them to your contact lists.
This function is active for public posts, and once the notification is sent, the address is removed from our system, making it GDPR-compliant.
The email footer for these notifications is different from others since, in this case, the recipient does not have the option to unsubscribe from the mailings as we do not store any user information. However, it is clearly stated who the sender is, with an encouragement to contact you, our clients, if the recipient has any questions.
This feature is now active for all customers using the Media Center.
Contact card images in notifications
Until now, the images in your contact cards have only been visible in the actual post in the Media Center, and not in the email notifications. We have now added these images to be visible in the emails as well. A fantastic example of this can be seen in this email.
Some other minor tweaks and bug fixes
We have fixed a bug that caused the filtering in the program catalog to not correctly sort the programs based on year of production.
We have adjusted the sorting of how posts and events are listed in the Media Center admin. Now, the sorting order is based on the date each post was created, without considering either the publishing or updating dates.
We have corrected an issue that made the 'replace clip' function in the Screening Room operate unsatisfactorily.
